Access from Bucharest, Buzau, Bacau can be made on European road E 85, to Focsani, then the DN 2M road should be followed, which starts in Focsani, passes through Odobesti and reaches Andreiaşul village.
From ODOBEŞTI DN 2M the road crosses the Broşteni commune, then Mera commune. The road is accompanied, almost all along, by river Milcov and hills with forests.
You can have access to TARA guesthouse on the last bridge crossing the village of Mera, over river Milcov. It is a wooden bridge bordered by a wooden porch with traditional motifs. Cross over the bridge to reach Vulcăneasa village. The TARA guesthouse is lying at the end of the village, embraced by forests.
